The film centers on 13-year-old Marcielle (Tielle), who lives with her family on Marajó Island in the Amazon rainforest. She initially idolizes her older sister's escape, believing it led to a better life. However, as Tielle matures, her illusions are shattered when she discovers the dark reality of deep-rooted exploitation and abuse that traps the women in her family and community. Determined to protect her younger sister and break this generational cycle of silence and violence, Tielle must confront the oppressive forces around her in a poignant exploration of resistance and the strength of women uplifting each other.
