A timid student working in a falafel shop that doubles as a front for a minor drug operation. When his friend and boss, Osama, is murdered by a corrupt police officer, Yahya seeks justice. Years later, he is cast as the lead in a state-funded propaganda TV show, which inadvertently provides him with an ironic opportunity to get revenge on his friend's real-life killer. The film is a blend of dark comedy, political satire, and action-thriller elements.
